| | | As we head into Winter Break, we want to thank our families and caregivers for a terrific start to the school year. Your partnership, support, and engagement make a meaningful difference in our school community, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day. The first months of the year have been filled with learning, growth, and connection, and we are proud of the work our students and staff have done together. Winter Break provides an important opportunity to pause, recharge, and reflect on these accomplishments while preparing for the months ahead. We hope the coming days offer time to rest, relax, and connect with family and friends. We wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyful break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Sincerely, The Neshobe Admin Team | | | Congratulations to our 5th and 6th grade band and chorus on a wonderful winter concert!
Come see our chorus one more time tomorrow at 3pm in Green Park in town as part of the Brandon Winter Village. The chorus will sing their 3 concert songs and then any and all Neshobe students are welcome to join us in singing 3 of our school sing along songs. We’ll see you tomorrow!

| | | In fourth grade at Neshobe students begin choice-based art. In our choice-based art classes students are challenged to choose what materials they want to use, what they want to make with them, and who they will collaborate with. Choice-based art focuses on artistic skills like critical thinking, creativity/innovation, collaboration, and communication. Below are some pictures from a fourth grade class that has recently opened the sculpture center. All are great examples of the artistic skills mentioned above. Connor and Zach have been working together to create a working skeeball game, Peter has been working for weeks on his cardboard Minecraft Creeper mask, Shirley has been building a tiny bedroom room decorated with many great details, and Noah has been trying to create a kinetic (moving) sculpture that acts as a sort of video game style driving simulator. Creativity in action! | | | | | | | | As winter approaches, RNESU will decide on school openings, closings, or delays. While we use social media and the WCAX closing schools site, the best way to get updates is through an RNESU phone call, email, or text message. Please ensure your most current contact information is in PowerSchool, so you receive timely notifications. | | | Neshobe School is looking for help taking care of the chickens on the weekends and non-school days. Chicken helpers would make sure the chickens have fresh water, enough food, check that the pen looks okay, and take home any eggs! Bringing treats is optional. If you are interested in signing up, you can view the calendar here. You are not able to sign up directly on the calendar. Email Heather Best, hbest@rnesu.org and she will share the link if you'd like to sign up. Please check with Heather if you have any questions. | | | School Board Seats for March 2026 Elections The following seats are up for election in March 2026.
