Dear Neshobe School Community,

We are seeking one student representative and one parent representative to serve on our Food Service Advisory Committee. This committee is meeting for the second time this year to review feedback and make recommendations for improvement on Monday, February 16 from 1:30–2:00 in the Neshobe Conference Room.

Your participation and feedback are important in helping us ensure that our food service program continues to meet the needs of our students and families. Please reach out to Patrick Binder (pbinder@rnesu.org) if you would like to serve on the advisory committee or if you have any questions.

On February 6th the Brandon Artists Guild celebrated the opening of its annual Student Art Show! Students who had work in the show were invited to attend and celebrate their work. Below are some pictures from the event. The Brandon Artists Guild Art show is a great opportunity for students but has limited space, which limits the number of students who can participate. This spring Otter Valley will host the BIG Art Show which will have space for work from every elementary school student in the entire district! More information about that will be shared this Spring! And thank you to the Brandon Artists Guild for sharing their space with us this winter!

Neshobe School is looking for help taking care of the chickens on the weekends and non-school days. Chicken helpers would make sure the chickens have fresh water, enough food, check that the pen looks okay, and take home any eggs! Bringing treats is optional. If you are interested in signing up, you can view the calendar here. You are not able to sign up directly on the calendar. • At-Large* (2 Seats: Paul Lathrop and Gabe McGuigan)

• At-Large – 1 year remaining of a 3-year term (Garret Hewes)

*At-Large candidates can be from any of the OVUUSD towns: Brandon; Goshen; Leicester; Pittsford Sudbury; and Whiting.

Completed petitions, along with a signed Consent of Candidate Form, are due to your Town Clerk by Monday, January 26, 2026. Petitions for town specific seats require signatures of the lesser of 1% of registered voters or 30 signatures. Petitions for at-large seats require the signature of 60 registered voters.
