Dear Families and Caregivers,
Spring has arrived at Neshobe, bringing a welcome sense of renewal, energy, and joy to our school community. As the weather warms and the days grow longer, classrooms are taking full advantage of the season by extending learning outdoors. From reading and writing in the sunshine to hands-on exploration—and even a spirited game of Quidditch—students are engaging in meaningful, active learning experiences that reflect the vibrancy of spring.
We recently celebrated a truly special evening with our Kindergarten through Grade 2 Celebration of Learning and “Voices of Kindness” concert. It was a fantastic event that showcased not only the growth and accomplishments of our youngest learners, but also their creativity, confidence, and joy. Thank you to our staff for the care and dedication that made the evening so meaningful, and to our families for joining us in celebration.
April has already been full of important moments. At our early release assembly, we had the opportunity to recognize students for their Citizenship, highlighting the positive contributions they make to our school community each day. We also celebrated Mrs. Lee during Assistant Principal Week (April 6–10). Neshobe is fortunate to have such a strong advocate for students and a dedicated community builder in her role. Her work makes a difference in countless ways, and we are grateful for her leadership.
For our older students, VTCAP testing for grades 3–6 is wrapping up. We appreciate the focus and effort students have demonstrated, as well as the support from staff and families in helping them do their best.
You may also be aware that, in an unfortunate turn of events this week, RNESU experienced a significant phishing incident that affected a number of staff devices. While our technology team is working diligently to resolve the issue, there may be delays in communication or response times. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this work continues.
Looking ahead, April Break (April 20–24) is just around the corner. We hope this time provides an opportunity for rest, connection, and enjoyment of the season with family and friends.
As April continues, we look forward to more sunshine, more learning, and more moments of joy across our Neshobe community.
Sincerely,
Neshobe Admin
