We are Responsible

October 7, 2021

Dear Neshobe Families,

Thank you upfront for your patience, understanding and cooperation as we continually assess and handle new COVID cases. This has been a challenging week for all and closing school, while a difficult decision, was the right one.  As we learn of new cases, we are taking the steps necessary to keep individuals safe.

A big thank you to ALL the faculty and staff for the work they have been doing to get students up and running for remote learning.

Reminder that school is closed tomorrow, October 8th and we have an Early Release scheduled for Friday, October 15th.

Picture Day(s): We were able to have a number of classrooms get pictures done this past Tuesday.  We will be rescheduling in the near future and will let you know dates as soon as we have them.

PTO: Neshobe Wear is still available to order through the PTO: https://neshobepto.itemorder.com/

Please watch for information for Monday’s PTO meeting.

Kindness Challenge: Last month, the 6th graders embarked on a Kindness Challenge.  Every Monday (or the first day of the school week), each 6th grade student will be given an Act of Kindness on a slip of paper to complete before Friday.

Our 6th grade total for last week was 134 Acts of Kindness!!!

Our total for three weeks is 356!!!

Kudos to all 6th grade students who are taking up the challenge to be kind!

News from a couple classrooms:

Mrs. Siegle:

Students in the classroom have been working on building a classroom community with lots of happy friends! Who knew they could make towers as tall as they are!

Mrs. Quenneville’s class:

Have a great weekend!
